Climbing Mt Kilimanjaro- Machame Route

MACHAME ROUTE

 The machame is the most popular of the camping routes and offers some spectacular scenery, ascending up the western side of the mountain and descending down the south face.

 Day-1-Arrive Moshi

 You will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel in moshi.  Overnight at Keys Hotel.

 Day-2-Machame Camp(3000m)

 After breakfast transfere to the park gate. Hike to Machame Camp-approximately 5hours. Overnight Camping.

 Day-3-Shira Plateau (3800m)

 Climb from Machame Camp to Shira Palteau-approximately 5-6 hours. Overnight Camping.

 Day-4-Barranco Wall (3900m)

 Hike from Shira Plateau to Barrance Wall-approximately 7-8 hours. Overnight Camping.

 Day-5-Barafu Camp(4600m)

 From Baranco  Wall hike via Karanga Valley to Barafu Camp-approximately 8-9 hours. Overnight Camping.

 Day-6-Uhuru Peak(5895m)

 Climb form Barafu via stella point to Uhuru Peak and then back down to Mweka Camp-approximately 14 hours total hiking time. Overnight Camping.

 Day-7-Mweka Camp to Moshi

 Descend from Mweka camp to the base where you will be met and transferred to Moshi for overnight at Keys Hotel.

 Day-8-Moshi

 After breakfast transfer to Arusha.end of Kili.

 COST PER PERSON WILL BE $ 1,872/=This price base on two people trekking the Kili,the more people the lower price.
